About the Role We currently have a Crew Natural Resource Management vacancy working in the Koo Wee Rup area from our South East Regional office in Carrum. This exciting and dynamic role will see you make a difference to both the environment and along the waterways of the iconic Cardinia Shire. Along with traditional land owners, these vital roles ensure the successful delivery of natural resource management and project works within the South region. As a Crew Member, you will be responsible for the execution of Natural Resource Management projects within the Cardinia Shire region. Your ability to work as part of a team, along with experience in Natural Resource Management and a passion for improving the biodiversity and aesthetics of the Cardinia Shire, will see you excel in this role. Due to the travel required, you will need to hold a valid Victorian Driver’s license. Experience in natural resource management or maintenance/project works Problem-solving skills, including the ability to deliver appropriate outcomes Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of people both within Melbourne Water, external organisations, and the general public Ability to work and contribute in a team environment to improve processes, respond to various demands, and manage multiple activities simultaneously Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations Other qualifications such as Industry White Card, Chainsaw Ticket, AgVet, Fall Prevention, etc. are desired Valid Victorian Driver’s License Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal record check *Please Note: All employees must possess a license to perform any duty which is required to be held under Australian legislation* At Melbourne Water, we care about water and all life that springs from it.
