This role champions the use of customer data with manufacturers to assist in driving profitable growth with their retail customers. This involves discussing business challenges and providing advice and recommendations based on an in-depth understanding of customer behavior, market trends, clients’ financial capabilities, and other key organizational factors. This role also acts as a champion of Unify, Circana’s proprietary data visualization and analytics platform and works to ensure Unify is fully embedded in clients’ businesses. Responsibilities Define business problems through consultations with clients and extract project briefs, reverse briefs, and supply opportunities for growth. Solve briefs with actionable recommendations based on knowledge of the market and provide the ‘now what’ insights through storytelling. Ensure client briefs and requirements are met, and measurable ROI to clients are delivered. Have a clear understanding of client and retailers' strategic initiatives to ensure targeted and actionable advice is delivered. Own engagement plan with clients, develop strategies and actions to achieve the objectives, ensuring they are monitored and adaptable to business changes. Work collaboratively with commercial teams to generate new business opportunities within existing clients. Manage ongoing performance and development of direct reports where applicable, ensuring all direct reports have KPIs and development goals set. Provide coaching and mentoring of direct reports and other members of the business to support their performance, growth, and development with a focus on customer data and Unify. Requirements 5+ years’ experience working in insights, data, and analytics (demonstrated use of Customer Loyalty data preferred). Experience working in Retail/FMCG sector (supplier, agency, retailer) preferred. Numerically proficient, detail-oriented, proficient in interpreting data to influence business decisions. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and plan effectively to meet or exceed expectations and deadlines. Well-spoken and confident to deliver presentations to small & large groups.
