Customer Development Manager (APAC) Department: Sales Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Melbourne, AU Reporting To: Paul Shelton Description Strengthen relationships, drive customer success, and shape strategic growth! At Evotix, we’re looking for a Customer Development Manager to play a key role in shaping our go-to-market strategy and driving a collaborative, team-selling approach. In this role, you’ll work closely with EHS Directors and C-level executives, understanding their challenges and helping them maximise the value of our solutions. By leveraging our existing frameworks, you’ll support new business sales cycles and ensure seamless customer engagement, retention, and growth. Key Responsibilities Generate upsell of new modules, broaden the use of Evotix Software within existing customers, and maximise customer retention Closing expansion and upsell deals (over £5k ARR) Develop a strong understanding of our customer base and the potential that the customer base has Profile the customer base to form a strategic outlook and pipeline for expansion Build relationships and sell consultatively to all levels and applicable departments within our client base to maximise updates of our product portfolio Consistently manage pipeline data and info, sales activity, and ability to forecast accurately Coordinating with our Events team to develop events and activities that increase Evotix exposure to existing and new expansion accounts, while ensuring that we continue to drive value for our partners. Strategically drive complex transactions involving multiple executive-level budget holders and decision-makers to closure Visits and international travel may be required to secure larger opportunities Engage in diligent prospecting to generate a pipeline Leverage existing relationships with both squads and your customer base to encourage opportunity generation Selling across stakeholders and functions within a customer account to grow the footprint and reach of our product portfolio Develop a territory plan that ensures everyone in your target account list knows your name and how you can help them Collaborate with Success and Sales teams to develop expansion & upsell playbook Help the organisation understand how to move upstream and cross-sell existing clients on increased functionality and other products such as Learn Liaise with Product and Marketing teams to relay customer needs Collaborate with colleagues to bring out the “Best of Evotix” Work with colleagues as needed to identify how Evotix can best fulfil customer requirements Work closely with Evotix sales leaders to progress each deal through the development of relationships with multiple parties at customer; deployment of sales collateral; tactics (including pricing) Provide clear information so that technical colleagues can advise on indicated arrangements through effort and resource Engage the implementation team in the final stages of a sale Ensure documentation is complete Populate customer relationship management with full details of activities Complete and submit tender applications Negotiate contractual terms with guidance—where required—from sales leadership Produce service order forms and obtain customer purchase orders Ensure that terms and conditions are agreed to and signed Be a company ambassador Attend conferences, exhibitions, and industry forums Promote Evotix to generate new leads Develop market insight Work to understand the health and safety market Understand sector-specific issues in target sectors Share insights with the product team and provide input to product strategy and development Gather intelligence on competitor propositions and activities, and feed them back to the sales and product teams Skills, Knowledge & Expertise 5+ years’ experience with SaaS and/or EHS sales Strong written communication skills Strong prioritisation skills Delivers target sales performance Provides reliable forecasts and insights into pipeline Secures strong customer relationships and provides a positive, professional impression, regardless of circumstance Adaptability Positive attitude Caring listener Self-starter mindset Willingness to collaborate Resiliency Honesty Team-player attitude Self-starter mindset Job Benefits At Evotix , we're transforming the way businesses approach health, safety, and wellbeing.
