The Role This is a traditional Freight Forwarding Customer Service role where you will be the primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of customers. Your duties will include all client facing activities - quotes, bookings, client meetings. You will join a diverse and friendly team with a supportive direct manager.Previous experience in Freight Forwarding is essential and experience with CargoWise1 is highly regarded. Action Purchase Orders from client with the requested ready date and delivery date and the shipment method (air freight / sea freight) Inform clients of shipping options, timelines, trans shipments, or regulations affecting shipments. Co-ordination of shipments with transport, shipping lines and destination representatives Quotations and reporting, including PO reporting and tracking Customer and site visitations (as required) Tracking of all international shipments for your client portfolio Data collection, analysis and recording Experience we are looking for: A minimum of 1-2 years in a Customer Service or Import related freight forwarding role in Australia CargoWise1 experienced preferred Exceptional interpersonal skills Solid employment history Great communication skills a must Responsibilities include: Liaise with customers daily Provide quotations Proactively manage shipments Prepare regular reporting Attend customer meetings / reviews Liaise with internal stakeholders Who You Are Prior experience in Freight Forwarding or International Logistics CW1 experience an advantage Knowledge of INCO terms Great communications skills High level of organisation / time management Salary: Competitive Salary (Negotiable pending experience)Location: Sydney Benefits 2 days WFH Robust infrastructure and resources Strong internal training and development Supportive and stable management team Close to public transport Contact Apply now or contact Nicole Reynolds on 0459 100 306 for a confidential discussion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
