We are looking to hire a qualified and reliable Customer Service Manager with great customer service skills to join our team. This environment is in a call center/corporate office. You will be working with a team of professionals for a well-known, highly regarded dermatology practice that puts our patients above all else. Job Duties Include: Hire and train call center personnel. Coach call center staff through challenging customer service issues. Analyze call center data and prepare reports for upper management. Evaluate staff effectiveness and performance quarterly and as needed. Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual call center goals and action plans. Prepare work schedules to ensure sufficient coverage. Take billing and insurance-related telephone calls, researching, and resolving patient problems and questions. Handle and problem-solve escalated accounts. Process credit card payments for offices and billing departments. Research and resolve billing problems from mailed-in statements and emails. Minimum Requirements: Minimum one year experience in a medical billing office setting with knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, CPT coding, and how to read and interpret EOBs required. Minimum one year experience in a call center or medical clinic leadership role. Excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized. Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Related computer experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Next Gen experience preferred. Extremely accurate keyboard ability and attention to detail. Working knowledge of office equipment. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
