Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Job Description

Secon Freight Logistics, with the acquisition by Silk, continues to be a freight industry leader with exciting growth in port logistics warehousing, bulk logistics and distribution. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to work within our customer service team at our facility in Truganina. This position requires a clear understanding of how the Secon business currently operates and uses operational skills to service various customer requirements. The Customer Service role has direct contact with the customer as well as internal departments in order to meet customers' expectations. Job Tasks and Responsibilities - but not limited to: Work with Operational Managers, Supervisors and internal customers to address the operational challenges that include: Safety, quality, compliance & accuracy issues Better client relations Capacity and productivity related issues IT and systems development and deployment Improve the productivity and profitability reporting to ensure: Better visuality is created for upstream management Key Supervisor decision making is improved through the use of targeted data KPI’s and benchmarking is used to ensure everyone is kept accountable Other responsibilities include: Advise Supervisors of required tasks for the following day Inwards receipt of all goods within 24 hours of arrival Clear and efficient communication to external and internal customers Ensuring picking, dispatch, inbound and warehouse procedures are being followed Ensure the tasking of cyclical stocktakes are being done daily Data entry accuracy of 99.5% Acting on and reporting on damaged goods within the warehouse Safety standards and guidelines are met within chain of responsibility Induction and training of new staff Provide support and guidance to new warehouse floor employees High level data entry skills Ability to problem solve High level customer communication skills Ability to use multiple systems Warehouse Management Systems etc. Ensure the safety and OH&S processes are being adhered by all staff Maintain the values and behaviours to that expected of a Secon employee Any other reasonable tasks not listed above but within the scope of current experience, ability and training For further details, please contact Marlene Tyquin at Secon Freight Logistics on 9393 4462 or alternatively apply online and provide an updated resume.
