Cyber Security Analyst - Permanent Role - Leading ANZ Supply Chain Company Leading supply chain business in the ANZ region looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join their growing team. 09th January, 2025 Cyber Security Analyst/Permanent/Sydney/Flexible WorkingAbout the role In this role, you will help identify threats and vulnerabilities across key business areas, while deploying technical solutions to enhance cyber defense. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring, responding to, and managing security threats through the Security Operations Center. Duties and Responsibilities Detect and address enterprise-wide threats that may go unnoticed. Partner with stakeholders to operate and enhance the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and its threat detection processes. Provide expertise in email security as a designated specialist. Direct the investigation of security incidents, ensuring adherence to protocols and recommending preventative measures. Continuously evaluate and refine response strategies to strengthen security resilience and efficiency. Skills/Requirements Minimum 3 years’ experience in cybersecurity or incident response roles. Familiarity with information security frameworks and standards. Understanding of core technology infrastructures, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and similar systems. Expertise in mail security, DNS configurations, and certificate management. Experience with vulnerability management, compliance, patching, anti-malware solutions, and control tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Security tools and endpoint detection/response systems - such as O365 and Proofpoint. Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms for logging and event management. Practical skills and knowledge in threat-hunting tools and techniques.
