Cyber Security Project Manager - Contract Our client is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to lead and manage technology projects across their organisation. This is initially a 6-month contract role, with likely extensions. You will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity and IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical engineers, senior management, and external vendors, to drive project objectives and implement effective solutions. At least 5+ years relevant local working experience as a Cyber Security Project Manager. Key responsibilities, but not limited to: Lead end-to-end cyber security projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met. Collaborate with engineers to assess cyber risks, propose mitigation strategies, and implement security controls in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Act as the primary point of contact between cybersecurity teams, technical professionals, vendors, and senior management. Facilitate change control processes for system updates, ensuring no operational disruptions while enhancing cybersecurity measures. Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and other security frameworks. Provide regular status updates, progress reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders. Oversee external vendors and contractors to ensure their solutions are secure, compliant, and deliver value in line with project objectives. Experience Required: Five or more years experience of IT Project Management within complex organisations (Tier 1 or 2). Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work with a varied number and type of stakeholders from across the business. Experience in managing vendors as part of the projects delivery. Potential to work on hardware replacement projects. M365 experience will be advantageous. Report on the initiative progress within program of work against delivery, quality, cost, and time commitments. Implement, monitor and report on project activities including milestone delivery, resource allocation, issue management, risk management and mitigation. Consolidating the teams initiatives and reporting progress to key stakeholders. Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills. Highly organised, able to prioritise work and run multiple projects simultaneously while working autonomously or collaboratively. Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills. Attention to detail and a quality control mindset. Notes: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Your daily rate will depend on skills and experience.
