Cyber Security Specialist (App Control & Hardening) (BC10232_1) Canberra, Australia Salary: AUD150 - AUD185 per hour + $NEG-All fees disclosed 12 + 12 + 12 month contract - January start NV1 Security Clearance preferred Our client, a large Federal Government Department, who enhance agriculture industries, forestry, trade and biosecurity are seeking the experience of an Cyber Security Senior Technical Specialist (Application Control & Hardening) for a long 12+12+12 month contract based in Canberra ACT. Duties of the Cyber Security Senior Technical Specialist (Application Control & Hardening) Identifying gaps in application control and user application hardening relating to the Essential Eight. Implementing application control and user application hardening settings to meet the Essential Eight. Liaising with managed service providers, department staff, third-party vendors and relevant business areas. Investigating and implementing improvements to uplift security configuration. Familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM) and the Essential Eight mitigation strategies. Skills and Experience Required Demonstrated experience in Application Control and User hardening to identifying gaps in application control and user application hardening relating to the Essential Eight. Demonstrated experience implementing application control and user application hardening settings to meet the Essential Eight. Demonstrated experience in Airlock Digital (desired).
