Job Description

Airflite is currently looking for a Captain to pilot a Dash 8 300 aircraft based in Perth, Western Australia. QUALIFICATIONS Australian ATPL (A) Minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time Minimum of 3,000 total aeronautical experience Minimum of 2,500 hours as Pilot in Command 1,500 hours as PIC of aircraft >5700kg MTOW 500 hours PIC multi-engine CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate English proficiency of Level 6 or above Level 4 Australian Multi-Engine Instrument Rating with IAP2D and IAP3D Current command instrument rating Hold or have the ability to attain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) Type Rating for Dash 8 Series Aircraft (DHC8) is preferred Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol pathology screening Current dangerous goods awareness certificate or ability to obtain Meets CAR217 proficiency and company recency requirements Completed Multi-crew Co-operation (MCC) course PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE: Proven Experience – Extensive aircraft piloting experience across various aircraft including Dash 8 Series will be highly regarded. Team Player – Ability to thrive in a team environment, fostering collaboration and collective success is a must. Adaptability – Aviation is an ever-changing work environment. Adaptability and resourcefulness to overcome all of aviation’s challenges. Communication Skills – Effective communication is vital in Airflite’s team-oriented approach. Attention to Detail – Airflite’s pilots take great pride in their flying skills, with their attention “laser focused” on detail. They are also constantly refining their abilities and broadening their skill sets.
