About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager (PM shift) to join our Distribution Centre in Altona North. Reporting to the PM Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a functional team and operational area within the Distribution Centre, focused on delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe work environment. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Aligning the flow of work in the DC functional area to achieve desired DC targets, ensuring team members have the capability to perform the required tasks and that the appropriate plant and equipment is available and in good working order. Being aware of and understanding SRG’s operational excellence strategy, ensuring functional area compliance with operational excellence work program. Being accountable for the DC departmental targets. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience working in a Retail or 3PL distribution environment and leading an operational team. Previous Inventory experience. Understanding of labour models and associated costs. WMS operating knowledge (Korber preferred) and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated understanding of hazard identification, incident management, and investigation. Understanding of CoR (Chain of Responsibility) – Current legislation. Exposure to a Manufacturing Excellence, Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma (Statistical Process Control) environment. Demonstrated operational decision-making ability. Tertiary qualification or Certificate in business, supply chain or related discipline. Current Forklift licence. Why Join Us?
