Job Description An excellent opportunity has opened up for an individual to manage the Non-Fiction floor at our George Street Flagship store! In this role you will: Achieve store sales budgets Achieve own department sales budgets Achieve Booklover sign up targets Achieve add on sales targets Drive a culture of sales performance within your team and the wider store Keep own knowledge of store budgets and sales performance up to date Introduce new programs and initiatives that will drive sales performance of own department and store Manage stock levels for the department through replenishment from suppliers and regular reviewing of aged stock Deploy employees to relevant duties to ensure best possible service offered to customers Provide ongoing feedback and training in all areas of the store Ensure that in-store promotions are set up on time and to merchandising guidelines Complete all relevant administrative tasks including store and daily rostering Ensure all register operations are followed, escalating any cash or register issues Ensure employees follow all store and Company operating procedures, escalating any breaches Desired Skills and Experience Successful candidates will have: Strong knowledge and understanding of the industry Ideally you will have a strong knowledge of the Non-Fiction department (not essential) Exceptional commercial awareness Excellent product knowledge and sales acumen Positive and upbeat approach Ability to think on your feet and solve problems Some experience in rostering and team management desirable If you have the drive, passion, and willingness to achieve instrumental results, then apply now! #J-18808-Ljbffr
