The Key Account Manager calls on major, national or regional accounts to cultivate relationships, identify opportunities, and increase sales. Achieves budgeted financial objectives for DSO corporate dentistry accounts with ~10-30 children locations for all Dentsply Sirona products. Achieves budgeted financial objectives for NAM DSO accounts for assigned Dentsply Sirona products. Develop and execute Single Sales Objectives for assigned accounts and assigned products collaboratively with all stakeholders (internal and external). Responsible for supporting and managing revenue growth of all business units within Dentsply Sirona simultaneously. Must provide monthly reporting of priority Single Sales Objectives (SSO) to include status, likelihood to close, revenue projections, and what is needed to advance the SSO. Prepares “LAMP” plan in collaboration with customer key players, distributors, and product specialists for assigned accounts and monitors performance as well as resolves problems to the customers’ and the company’s satisfaction. Maximizes profitability with assigned accounts and products. Ensures all proposals maximize the profitability to Dentsply Sirona. Functions as the primary liaison between Dentsply Sirona and customers for market information, product definition, value differentiation, and partnership program implementation. Conducts selling presentations in both traditional and innovative ways that lead to successful and profitable customer relationships. Complies with company and departmental policies and with administrative requirements such as monthly and T&E reporting. Distributor Business Unit Responsibilities (Scope: All contract types (DPM, SMF, PHC) including the management of Formulary and DPM Contracts to drive growth. Manage and create Special Markets- Specific Marketing Programs. Analyzes issues that impact customers and proactively communicates those issues with the appropriate internal work groups. Complies with complaint handling process, Marketing Code of Conduct, Antikickback statutes, Anticompetitive statutes, and other relevant regulatory policies applicable to National Accounts. Performs other duties as assigned or as may be necessary. Education: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. Certifications/Licensing: • Valid driver’s license is required. Years and Type of Experience: • 3 – 5 years of business-to-business sales experience.• Experience in key, national or regional accounts preferred. Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities: • Capable of working independently.• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.• Must display interpersonal skills and ability to interact with customers, employees, and others in a professional and tactful manner.• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.• Organizes and conducts meetings and product training sessions with a variety of audiences to build product demand.• Ability to meet divisional goals and key performance objectives.• Analytical skills, negotiation skills, and strong executive presence.• Ability to take on additional role assignments, including special projects and leadership activities.• Ability to handle conflict and resolve problems quickly.• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.• Ability to operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis up to 8 hours per day.• Ability to travel overnight as required.
