Our Macquarie Group Financial Planning and Analysis team play a key role by providing insightful and forward-looking analysis to support senior leadership in driving key business decisions. Our focus is on enhancing reporting and analytical capabilities by industrialising data feeds for various risk, business and finance metrics, while supporting automated solutions for C-suite, Executive and Board reporting. As part of the Systems, Data and Transformation Team, you will collaborate with various business stakeholders to provide timely and accurate data for explorative analysis on topics of commercial interest to senior leadership. You will be responsible for the full suite of data governance and ongoing management of these data assets, including processing updates to existing data assets and participating in the scoping, testing and onboarding of new data assets as required. What you offer 3-5 years of experience as a Business or Data Analyst. Previous experience in finance roles is highly valued but not required. A proven track record with strong hands-on commercial analysis or strategy experience – including a thorough handle on driving insight through to actionable outcomes. Strong communication skills with ability to form and leverage relationships with key business stakeholders. Prior experience in data governance including managing data elements, data quality rules, controls and lineage is desirable.
