Job Description Where do you fit in? Reporting to the Head of Data & Digital, you will be responsible for cleansing, merging, and managing data from various business sources to create a centralised, accessible data hub. Your role will focus on transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling teams across the organization to make data-driven decisions. You will leverage advanced analytics and data visualization techniques to create meaningful reports and dashboards that highlight key business trends, performance metrics, and opportunities for growth. What you’ll do day-to-day: Collect, clean, and manage data from diverse business sources to ensure consistency and accuracy for analytics. Build, design, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensuring seamless access to timely, reliable data across teams. Develop and implement data governance standards, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with industry best practices. Optimize data storage and processing systems to meet business needs and ensure efficient querying and analysis. Develop relationships with Finance, Retail, Marketing and Operations teams to support the development of critical business insights. Create and maintain real-time dashboards, providing key performance insights for decision-making. Utilise advanced analytics techniques to derive actionable insights from complex data sets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote data-driven decision-making and improve data literacy. Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines to maintain high performance and data integrity. Monitor and report on key metrics to track business performance and identify trends. Desired Skills and Experience What you’ll need to be successful in this role: A strong understanding of database design & development concepts Experience with building and optimising ETL/ELT processes Previous hands-on experience working with Cloud Technologies - Azure products a plus Proficient in SQL and Python, or other programming languages to manipulate data - experience or interest in ML a plus Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI Experience working with marketing teams or performance agencies is highly desirable.
