The Team The Data and Digital Insights team helps clients put data driven decision making at the heart of solving their most important problems. Through our expert delivery of data strategy, data science and analytics, data management and data platforms, we help our clients make intelligent decisions for better outcomes. The Role As a senior associate within our Data and Digital Insights team in Canberra, you will be involved in design, build, and delivery of innovative cloud based geospatial data solutions in the areas of environment, health, infrastructure and national security. Your ability to bridge the technical and functional aspects of advanced data solutions will be important. In this role, you will create value by: Assessing client business requirements, documenting use cases and assessing existing IT infrastructure to recommend suitable data and analytical solutions. Bringing experience in the design and delivery of geospatial and place-based data solutions. Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and transform raw data into usable formats. Taking a business led approach to analytics by blending commercial understanding with your analytical experience and consulting mindset to ensure that the insight we develop can truly be used by our clients to add value to their organisation. Managing yourself and small teams on client engagements to understand the commercial and technical objectives of stakeholders, and translate those into solution designs and implementations which drive value for our clients. Fostering a collaborative environment and promoting knowledge sharing. Assisting with pre-sale activities like proposal writing, solution design, demonstrations. To be successful you will have: Experience with design and delivery of geospatial tools and solutions. A passion for assisting clients to manage and create value from their data. Given your experience and leading edge in Analytics: You have consulting experience and experience in project-based roles working alongside multi-disciplinary teams. You have experience working with Government clients across Australia. Qualifications: Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field. Experience : Several years of experience in data strategy and delivery roles, preferably in a consultancy role. Technical Skills : Proficiency in relevant technical solutions such as cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), data management, and DevOps tools. Certifications : Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect. Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
