Competitive salary with company benefits An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Data Visualisations and Reporting Manager to play a key role within our IT team, taking lead of our reporting journey as we migrate to MS Fabric and deliver a best-in-class reporting solution to give internal stakeholders critical data insights to help make key business decisions. This full-time role is based out of our Edwardstown/ NSW office 3-4 days per week with the opportunity to travel interstate. This senior manager will also form part of the IT management team, collectively making key decisions across all of IT. The successful candidate will: Lead and manage the experienced business reporting team who manage our reporting databases and PBI reports, applications and dashboards that ultimately empower our major vegetation contract managers to make critical data-driven decisions. Ideally have some exposure or working knowledge of Azure pipelines, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Databricks on Azure and Azure Purview to play a key role in moving to Microsoft Fabric. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience with visualisation and reporting tools (ideally PBI) and MS SQL database tools (SSIS, SSRS). Mentor and guide team members in developing their expertise in Power BI and associated tools. Have excellent communicative skills, and a collaborative style to refine reporting business requirements and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers. Oversee the management, ensuring data integrity, optimal performance, and seamless integration with various data sources. Identify trends, patterns, and gain insight into client, employee, competitor, and stakeholder behaviours to support decision-making and opportunities. Establish data governance policies and practices for IT and the wider business. Provide reports and dashboards to help our internal stakeholders understand productivity, financial performance and other KPIs to aid in critical business decisions. A supportive team environment. Do you have? Extensive Power BI or equivalent visualisation tool experience in a medium-sized organisation with a large field/crew presence. Previous experience and skills in: Excel (Advanced), BI reporting and visualisation tools. Using SQL and/or other query languages for data analysis. Sourcing, collating, and analysing information from diverse sources. Working with large data sets and computational analyses. Data translation for business purposes. Ability to work independently and quickly learn new skills/systems. Ability to collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality data analysis and reporting. Proven experience in leading highly effective reporting teams.
