Job Description
Long-term engagement opportunity Candidates must be Australian citizens Remote role - candidates can be based anywhere in AUS About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler Lead for a key leadership role within a dynamic organization. In this position, you will play a critical part in analyzing and translating business needs into long-term data models and driving data architecture initiatives. You'll focus on developing sophisticated data models, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to the design and delivery of data solutions supporting digital services. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining complex data models, contributing to data design and architecture, and leading data analysis efforts for better decision-making. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, handling sensitive data and managing competing priorities with sound judgment and leadership. Key Responsibilities: Manage competing priorities to ensure timely project delivery. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs. Develop and maintain sophisticated conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Contribute to the overall data architecture and design. Support data analytics initiatives by providing well-structured data models. Technical Skills: Proven experience developing analytical data models. Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling. Proficiency in SQL and Python , with the ability to analyze complex datasets and identify gaps in data requirements and source systems. Experience with data modeling standards and best practices. Desirable: Experience with Azure Databricks and Master Data Management .
