Senior Consultant @ Hays | Data & Advanced Analytics Chapter Lead - Data Operations Are you an expert in all things data ops, with strategic team leadership experience? Your new role: Join a growing Aussie organisation as a leader of the Data, Analytics & Artificial Intelligence Team. The Data Operations Lead is responsible for leading a team of IT professionals responsible for overseeing and managing data services running on the Azure cloud. This team comprises of 3rd party vendor resources, as well as an internal DataOps capability. Responsibilities: Oversee the companies' data operation performance and strategy Maintain authority on capability in production environments, ensuring high platform service quality, reliability and availability Project management and delivery Incident response and operational support Data reliability/quality assurance BAU enhancements to their modern data platform Budget and vendor management Stakeholder liaison, both internal and external Driving the team forward following a highly agile and DevOps structure Skills required: Strong experience across the entire data delivery lifecycle, with expert-level knowledge of the Data Operations Landscape including production Stability Extensive data platforms experience, ideally within Azure & Snowflake, following modern analytics and AI processes Wealth of knowledge about data management, data structures, remediation and data quality Strong communication with team leadership experience Modern data stacks experience, particularly for AI, including Snowflake and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services Significant stakeholder and team leadership skills and values Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries Technology, Information and Media #J-18808-Ljbffr
