The Team Data Trust and Privacy Our Data Trust and Privacy team are experts in Data Governance, Privacy & Artificial Intelligence (AI) risk. We help clients to govern, manage and protect critical data assets through strategy and roadmap development, maturity assessments, data discovery and tooling implementation. Additionally, we help clients understand their data, privacy and AI compliance obligations and identify opportunities for improvement. The Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will create value by: Supporting business development activities including proposal development, competitive RFT/RFP responses, cost modelling, and supporting client presentations / demonstrations. Leading small client engagements and providing guidance and support to other members of the team in the areas of Data Strategy and Roadmap Development, Data/Privacy/AI Maturity Assessments, Data Governance Frameworks, Privacy Management, Data Inventorisation and Minimisation, and Data Risk Assessments. Leveraging your advisory and consulting skills set to deliver high quality outcomes to our clients through a combination of hands-on delivery, and regular technical leadership and coaching to more junior members of the team. Managing the budget of small client engagements to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget. Managing a small team of consultants and providing guidance and mentoring to ensure their professional growth. Supporting the development of new capabilities, products and services based on market demand. About You Technically, you will bring to the position: 5+ years of industry experience working with large organisations on data management, data governance, privacy management or AI initiatives. Working knowledge of relevant industry frameworks and methodologies such as DAMA’s DmBOK, EMDC’s DCAM, APPs, ISO42001, etc. A reasonable understanding of contemporary technologies including networks, hyperscale clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP), common SaaS applications, end user compute, and data governance. Basic project management skills and the proven ability to lead a team of people in the delivery of a small project. You will ideally hold one or more of the following qualifications and certifications in Data Management, Privacy or AI, such as CDMP, DCAM, CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E, CDPSE, or other related certifications. Australian citizenship is required for this position. A current Australian security clearance is highly advantageous.
