Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated Data Scientist with junior-level expertise (1+ years and solid experience) to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects with one of our major big-brand clients, contributing to meaningful insights and data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with a major brand client to understand their business needs and deliver tailored data science solutions. Build and refine predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems. Use Databricks to design and manage data pipelines, perform analytics, and deploy machine learning workflows. Conduct exploratory data analysis and preprocess large datasets for actionable insights. Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively. Continuously monitor and optimize model performance to ensure business impact. Required Skills and Qualifications: 1+ years of professional experience in a data science role. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Hands-on experience with Databricks for analytics and machine learning tasks. Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing large datasets. Familiarity with data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and statistical analysis. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Note: This position is based in Sydney, Australia.
