People are the heart of our business.We have a range of projects inflight and in the pipeline and are looking to augment our talented Data and Analytics team with an experienced Data and Analytics Lead. The role is based in Adelaide and you must hold working rights in Australia.The Role Manage and optimize Databricks deployments, including cluster management, data pipeline optimization, and job execution. Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. Optimize and manage Azure Data Lake Storage Gen 2 for efficient data storage and performance. Develop and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring continuous business intelligence availability. Proactively monitor platform components to detect and resolve issues before they impact performance. Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues across the platform. Administer Collibra data governance platform (desirable) to maintain data catalogues and enforce governance policies. Conduct proactive and reactive management tasks, including capacity planning and incident response. Collaborate with solution developers to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Maintain thorough documentation of platform architecture, configurations, and procedures. Experience Required Extensive experience with Databricks on Azure. Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen 2. Proven experience in Power BI development, including report optimization and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Collibra data governance platform (desirable). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Experience in performance tuning and optimization across various platform components. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
