ZircoDATA is one of Australia's leading providers of information management solutions to the Australian market. We provide a wide range of services including records management, paper storage, vital records archive storage, data protection services, document destruction, and document translation. We are seeking a Data and Integration Specialist to design, implement, and maintain data integration workflows, ensuring seamless data exchange and accessibility across our systems. Key responsibilities of this role include: Implementing and delivering the objectives within the IS&D strategy and enhancing the efficiency, automation, and reliability of data integration processes. Managing the process of gathering, transforming, and integrating data from various sources to ensure consistency and reliability. Designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and middleware solutions for seamless system communication. Monitoring and troubleshooting data flow and integration issues to ensure minimal downtime. Optimising database structures, queries, and data movement strategies to improve performance and efficiency. Supporting business intelligence tools such as Power BI by ensuring proper data availability and integrity. Implementing and documenting data integration best practices and standard operating procedures. Collaborating with IT and external vendors to ensure data integration requirements are met efficiently. Ensuring compliance with data governance policies, security standards, and industry regulations. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills, and traits: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions. Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses. Hands-on experience with cloud-based data services (Azure). Experience with data governance, security, and compliance best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data integration issues. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with business intelligence tools and reporting platforms is highly desirable. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation purposes is an advantage.
