About the Role: Our Sydney depot has openings for 2 dayshift Local PUD Allocators. Rosters available: Monday to FridayThursday to Sunday Please advise our recruitment team your preferences in regard to rosters. The Allocators are integral to the successful day to day operations of the organisation. The primary purpose of these positions is liaising with the National Transport Office, Operations staff, Admin staff and oversee the running of the warehouse floor to ensure the efficient allocation of services and equipment to maximise efficiency while exceeding customer expectations. Any given day will see you working across such responsibilities as: Co-ordination of freight and deliveries for local drivers. Planning and building loads in line with customer requirements. Equipment and resource planning. Raising and reconciling freight bills. Liaising with NTO, other Ops & Depot teams, floor staff and maintenance to ensure operations are run efficiently. Facilitating the retrieval and imaging of all proof of Delivery (POD) documentation. Monitor and reporting on the performance of the fleet in accordance with specific KPIs. Monitoring compliance with fatigue, mass and maintenance requirements. Ensuring the safe conduct of operations in the workplace with site safety auditing. Ad hoc administrative duties as directed by the Depot Manager. About you: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate: Prior experience in a similar role and industry highly regarded. Knowledge and monitoring of fatigue and mass in accordance with legislative requirements. Understanding of the chain of responsibility. Professional presentation with a friendly and helpful manner with an ability to deal effectively with a diverse workforce. Ability to manage your own time, meet deadlines and take responsibility for your output and the quality of your work. A mature attitude with a logical and methodical approach to your work. Clear and concise communication skills. Sound knowledge of metropolitan road networks. Flexibility in work hours to include weekends.
