ABOUT THE ROLE: As part of the Tony White Group, West Orange Motors is the largest multi-franchise dealership in the NSW Central West, offering Sales, Servicing, Parts, Finance & Insurance across 5 different brands. We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Dealership Financial Controller to assume this vital role. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic, and talented professional to join our growing Group to manage risk, ensure compliance, and guide the financials of these profitable businesses. RESPONSIBILITIES: Hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring all Administration staff Planning and developing annual budgets and forecasts, with associated time projections for their achievement Effectively communicating with the Group Financial Controller and Dealer Principal to produce and review progressive trading results Closely monitoring daily operations, and creating and implementing action plans to address budget variances Overseeing the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete, accurate, and submitted on time Ensuring that the payroll is processed in a timely manner with appropriate dispersal of payments Monitoring dealership expenses to ensure compliance, correct allocation, and conformity with Group Policy Ensuring that Accounts Payable are paid on a timely basis and that Accounts Receivable are collected promptly and within terms Creating and maintaining a sound working relationship with other department managers and assisting them with budgets and collating and analysing results Actively participating in monthly management meetings to contribute information on progress results and raise issues of concern Sound knowledge of all dealership departments and proven strategies to deliver results across the business SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated outstanding team leadership and management experience in a comparable dealership/s Appropriate accounting qualifications and experience are mandatory High level of computer literacy with experience in a range of Microsoft Office programs, and Financier and Insurer IT interfaces Extensive experience with dealership DMS Willingness to get involved to work as a vital part of the management team to ensure collaborative and productive outcomes, and to provide wise counsel to the Dealer Principal Strong inter-personal skills, a positive attitude, and the capacity to prioritise and handle a varied workload - time-effectively, without fuss, and to a high standard BENEFITS: Remuneration and benefits - including a fully-maintained company vehicle and an attractive salary - will be commensurate with experience A permanent full-time position with the financial security of a substantial, well-established Company A collaborative team environment that values excellence and is committed to Customer care PLEASE NOTE: We conduct reference checking, pre-employment medicals & AFP Criminal record checks Only short-listed applicants will be contacted Applicants who do not have the required skills and/or experience will not be considered Applicants must be physically in Australia and hold a permanent residency Visa We are an equal opportunity employer, supporting gender equality, and workplace diversity If you have the required expertise and a passion to work with the best in the Industry, please apply - in strict confidence - with a covering letter and resume via this Seek ad.
