We are excited to invite an experienced dealership Service Advisor to join our team at Westar Trucks. This is a unique chance to play a vital role in our service operations and customer satisfaction.About the Role: Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include: Providing outstanding customer care and serving as the crucial link between customers and our workshop. Scheduling service repair orders and clearly understanding customer issues. Keeping customers informed and answering any questions regarding vehicle servicing. Preparing invoices and closing allocated repairs. Offering expert advice on our products and services. Collaborating with technicians and workshop control to ensure timely vehicle readiness. Maintaining transparency with customers regarding estimated completion times and providing updates. Assisting the Workshop Manager in addressing customer-related concerns. Ideal Candidate Attributes: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably with light or heavy vehicles. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills working through sometimes challenging conversations. Technical truck skills are not essential but advantageous. Excellent organisational skills and effective time management. Proven ability to mentor and coach staff. Ability to resolve conflicts amicably. Strong focus on customer satisfaction and positive experiences. Current Heavy Vehicle VIC Driver's License. What We Offer: Competitive salary package, including paid overtime with a car allowance and commissions. Hours: Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM, with availability from 12 PM to 8:30 PM (this incurs 18% loading) and a half-day on Saturday once per month.
