Located within our educational office; on site at Simpson Barracks Watsonia Full Time, Fixed Term opportunity Attractive remuneration package offered About the role: An exciting opportunity to work at and for one of Box Hill Institute’s commercial partnerships and client, ADF (Australian Defence Force) as a Defence Client/IT Support Administrator. Located on an ADF site, Simpsons Barracks Watsonia, this position is a full-time, fixed term opportunity, reporting to the Operations Manager. This is a frontline role within the BHI Defence team and has primary responsibility for maintaining the deliverability of the BHI Defence Team’s IT solutions to support innovative and contemporary learning for DFSS. The Defence Client/IT Support Administrator maintains a consistent and excellent level of client service experience for all internal and external clients of BHI. In this role, you will be responsible for working professionally with employees at all levels across the BHI and Defence as well as liaising with relevant external stakeholders, including students and clients. This position is based at the Defence Force Simpson Barracks located in Watsonia, but is expected to work in Box Hill, City, Lilydale and across any campus of BHI as required. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and currently hold or be able to obtain a NV1 Level Defence Security Clearance. About You: Qualification in IT or similar Demonstrated experience within a similar role Existing or ability to qualify for NV1 Security clearance for access to Defence facilities. Knowledge of MOODLE platform or similar ITIL service management workforce experience (desirable) Knowledge and use of third party hosting LMS/TMS preferred Experience in monitoring and reporting on the performance on network, system and application security solutions to highlight areas of non compliance and implement improved practices Experience in the development and maintenance of technical documentation, reports and project plans About Us: We are proud to be a leading education provider with a strong reputation for delivering high quality educational outcomes.
