Job Description

Reporting to the Royal Canin SC Director ANZ, the Demand Planning Manager role plays a pivotal role partnering with key stakeholders to help deliver a best-in-class unconstrained rolling demand plan that enables better decision making in the business.The Demand Planning Manager works closely with the dedicated sales account team and also with supply planning, logistics, activity, and portfolio management within Royal Canin. This role covers Australia and New Zealand, from analysis, forecast sign off to reporting on sales actual performance. What are we looking for? Relevant experience in Demand Planning. Preference for candidates with relevant experience/exposure to other cross functions such as marketing, supply planning, logistics. Prior experience working with customers in collaboration meetings. Experience using forecasting systems and tools. Demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer applications. Demonstrated experience of delivering effective presentations using qualitative and quantitative data to influence leadership behaviors and decisions. A strong collaborator with cross-functional teams, with the ability to work autonomously and have great communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders. What will be your key responsibilities? Lead monthly demand consensus review with National Account Managers to align baselines and promotional forecasts to actuals and scans, ensuring assumptions are validated and unresolved issues are escalated appropriately. Manage the review of opportunities, risks, and assumptions register. Influence key business partners by leveraging data to develop the best-in-class forecast. Lead Demand Management Review as a key step in the S&OP process and drive S&OP discipline & accountability within the sales account team. Maintain Planning system to deliver an accurate Item/DC level forecast for Supply Chain. Participate/lead special projects as assigned by Supply Chain Director. Lead/participate in continuous improvement projects and problem-solving, as it relates to forecasting. Represent demand in activity meetings and drive NPD forecasting integrity. Liaise with Regional/Global functional roles as required for reporting and continuous improvement activities. What can you expect from Mars?
