The Opportunity: We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Care Service Employee (CSE) / Assistant in Nursing (AIN) with a background in dementia support to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Care Manager, you’ll provide personalised 1:1 support to residents living with dementia, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life through tailored activities meeting their individual needs. This role is a full-time position, shift times will be from 12:00pm to 8:00 pm. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 support, through personal care, daily living, emotional and companionship. Effectively manage and de-escalate any behaviours of concern with compassion and professionalism. Implement and follow individualised care plans and behaviour management strategies. Communicate clearly and empathetically with residents, especially with residents who have communication difficulties. Accurately complete relevant documentation on appropriate systems, including monitoring charts, and promptly report updates or changes in residents' health and well-being. What we’re looking for: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent. Previous experience working with residents who are living with dementia. The ability to remain calm, patient, and composed in high-pressure situations. A genuine passion for improving the quality of life for residents with dementia, paired with empathy and compassion. Current National Criminal Record Check. Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment and experience working in an Aged Care. Spoken Arabic is highly regarded to assist with residents, families, and visitors' liaison. What We Offer: Attractive competitive salary and benefits package.
