Company Description Maven Dental Cairns City is a large family dental clinic, located close to the city. Our practice offers all treatments in house, including a general anaesthetic facility. Fantastic team of long standing staff who pride ourselves in offering quality care. Job Description We're looking for a passionate and dedicated individual with a strong knowledge of dental procedures, sterilisation, and infection control. You will be working 28-36 hours per week, providing flexibility and the opportunity to balance work with personal commitments. Shifts will vary based on the needs of the practice, allowing you to experience a dynamic and engaging work schedule while maintaining a steady workload. Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical chairside assistance. Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Maintain a clean and hygienic clinical environment. Qualifications Dental Assistant Certificate III or at least 3 years in the industry is necessary. Experience in dental terminology and procedures. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrates proficiency in sterilisation and infection control. Must be adaptable and capable of supporting all clinicians. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of dental software.
