An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Dentist to provide high quality general practitioner dental services within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. In this position you will provide clinical leadership, supervision and support for clinical staff to improve clinical capability and service outcomes. Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north. We respect, protect, and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions. The Senior Dentist routinely provides advice and information about clinical and non-clinical matters. Oral Health services are provided to patient groups that meet the eligibility criteria for accessing public dental services in Queensland. Key Responsibilities include: Provide high quality general dental practitioner oral health services to the eligible population. Provide emergency dental care for eligible patients including triage and management of emergent urgent patients. Provide clinical leadership to the Oral Health team. Remuneration value up to $194,289 p.a., comprising salary between $158,532 - $170,285 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (DO2).
