Full Time Berrimah, NT Home garaged vehicle CAAPS is an Aboriginal Community Controlled organisation delivering a range of important community services to people through activities and services that reflect our CORE values of caring, openness, respect and empowerment. You will be part of an exciting program delivering a new approach to providing AOD and Youth Services. About the position The Deputy CEO is responsible for implementation of CAAPS strategy and operations. This role involves providing culturally appropriate leadership, business development, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful delivery of CAAPS' purpose and vision. The Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Services Manager (SM) is responsible for implementing and managing CAAPS AOD programs. This role is crucial in fostering team collaboration, motivation, retention, and upskilling to support CAAPS' mission. The AOD-SM will also lead clinical management and ensure continuous improvement and best practices in AOD programs, also delivering outcomes-based reporting and accountability. Some of your responsibilities will be: Support the CEO to deliver CAAPS strategic goals and operational plans Personify CAAPS CORE Values Work with the CEO to provide Leadership and manage AOD teams Deliver high quality AOD programs and services Oversee clinical governance and quality management Stakeholder engagement, data management and reporting Administer funding, contract and policy management Your skills, experience and qualifications include: Post graduate qualification: business, human services, counselling or relevant field. Clinical experience and oversight within senior leadership and program management. Demonstration of Strategic and Operational planning and implementation. Demonstrated understanding of good Governance practices as per the Corporations Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (CATSI) Act 2006. Demonstration for the preparation and presentation of reports and submissions at executive management and Board level. Successful leadership of multi-disciplinary not-for-profit or Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation for at least 5 years. Demonstration of successful stakeholder engagement within NFP, ACCO or other relevant community service industry. Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain Current NT Driver’s License (minimum C Class) Current Criminal History Check Current Ochre Card (Category E) Current NAPCAN Mandatory Reporting Certificate, or willingness to obtain Why work for CAAPS?
