Infrastructure Canberra is seeking a dynamic and skilled Deputy Chief Finance Officer to join our dedicated Finance team. About Us: Infrastructure Canberra leads and supports the procurement and delivery of the ACT Government’s property and infrastructure programs. We collaborate with the ACT Government and private sector to design, build, and construct critical and landmark infrastructure that defines Canberra. About the Role: As the Deputy Chief Finance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Chief Finance Officer in leading our Finance team. This senior management position involves providing high-level specialist advice on a diverse range of financial issues, including budget preparation, financial reporting, financial analysis, and planning, whilst ensuring adherence to the Financial Management Act 1996. Key Duties Include: Provide strategic and operational financial advice. Establish and maintain financial controls, delegations, and procedures. Develop and allocate internal and external budgets. Prepare financial performance reports and annual financial statements. Manage project and capital works reporting. Oversee accounts receivable and payable processing.
