We are currently recruiting a Deputy Head of Boutique for our Market Street Fashion Boutique in Sydney. This position is for a 12 month fixed term contract. ABOUT THE JOB The Deputy Head of Boutique plays an important role in inspiring and managing the boutique team to achieve the mission of the brand and is the primary driver of effective day-to-day operations in the boutique. As a bridge between the Head of Boutique and the Boutique team, the Deputy Head of Boutique supports the Head of Boutique to reinforce, communicate and execute The Chanel Difference on the Boutique floor to ensure luxury retail leadership. Reporting to our Head of Boutique, the Deputy Head of Boutique interacts closely with clients and works alongside Fashion Advisors to deliver exceptional service. This role is pivotal in maintaining the boutique's reputation for luxury and excellence. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ROLE Candidates should possess strong leadership and management skills, coupled with a deep understanding of luxury retail operations. Effective communication skills are crucial for liaising with clients and team members to ensure a seamless and exceptional boutique experience. In this role, you will have the responsibility to: Manage and inspire the Fashion Advisors by being a role model, taking a close interest in and actively participating in the team's professional development. Support the Head of Boutique in developing and executing a client-centric culture among the boutique team that emphasizes client engagement and building long-lasting relationships. Adapt your management and communication styles when dealing with different boutique team members to achieve maximum results, including acting as a mentor, coach, or counselor depending on circumstances. Set high standards in all aspects of customer service in consultation with the Head of Boutique and motivate the boutique team to achieve these standards via client survey results, effective handling of feedback, adhering to exchange and return guidelines, capturing and keeping up to date CEM data of each client. Attend to all day-to-day operations issues promptly and astutely, seeking direction and guidance from the Head of Boutique as needed. Ensure daily sales and appropriate paperwork are accurately completed. Uphold the image of the Brand as a Brand Ambassador by portraying a professional and sophisticated image of personal grooming and etiquette. Support your boutique by displaying a positive attitude towards teamwork, collaboration, and living the Chanel values. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and inspire the boutique team. A client-centric mindset with the ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
