Education (Organisation site)Metropolitan South Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance Division We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to join our school as Deputy Principal (Special Education, locally known as Deputy Principal Inclusion). This pivotal role focuses on leading our whole-school approach to inclusion for students from Year 7 to Year 12.The Deputy Principal (Inclusion) role will assist the principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision, focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students, with a focus on students with diverse learning needs (Students with a Disability, First Nations, EAL/D, Students in Out of Home Care and Gifted and Talented). About the Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist the Principal to lead the school community through whole school approach to inclusion, case management systems and differentiated teaching and learning to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. Deputise for the Principal when required. Uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical and moral activity. Embed socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance. Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
