Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License Provisional Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) Eligible Role and Facility Information The Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) Division of Dermatology has openings for Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) (or equivalent) Dermatologists based in Victoria. Serving a primary referral base of 250,000 and a regional referral base of 750,000, additional Dermatologists are required to provide medical and surgical dermatology services in Victoria. Local amenities include excellent dermatopathology, psoriasis clinic and B.C. Cancer Agency. The Victoria Dermatology community is very congenial and meets monthly for patient rounds and journal club. Teaching opportunities are available through the University of Victoria Island Medical Program, affiliated with the UBC Medical School.
