Design Manager – Leading Property Developer | Brisbane, QLD About the Company Our client is a premier Brisbane-based property developer known for innovative, high-quality residential projects. With a strong focus on excellence and sustainability, they are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead and elevate their future developments. The Role As Design Manager , you will oversee the design process from concept to completion, managing architects, designers, and consultants to ensure projects meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics. This leadership role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to bring creative visions to life. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the design process across multiple projects. Oversee and collaborate with internal teams and external consultants . Develop and enforce design standards, guidelines, and best practices . Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and sustainability requirements . Review and manage design documentation and project materials. Coordinate with development, construction, and marketing teams . Conduct design reviews , providing constructive feedback. Manage budgets and timelines , ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies . Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture, Design, or a related field . 7+ years’ experience in design management within property development. Strong portfolio in residential and/or commercial projects. In-depth knowledge of Queensland building regulations and codes . Proven leadership and project management skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite .
