About the Role We’re on the lookout for a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and take ownership of designing, deploying and managing scalable infrastructure solutions for our applications. This fully onsite role is an opportunity to work with a high-performing tech team, where your expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes will be instrumental in enhancing our platform’s scalability, security and efficiency. What You'll Be Doing Infrastructure Management & Automation Design, build and maintain scalable, secure and reliable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible. Automate provisioning, configuration and monitoring of infrastructure. Optimise infrastructure costs and performance. CI/CD & Deployment Automation Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications. Automate deployments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools. Implement blue green, rolling updates and canary deployments to ensure minimal downtime. Set up real-time monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch. Ensure system reliability, scalability and high availability (HA/DR strategies). Implement logging solutions (ELK Stack, Fluentd, Splunk) for deep observability and analysis. Enforce security best practices, access controls and compliance policies (i.e. SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST). Containerisation & Orchestration Manage and Optimise Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE) and Docker containers. Work with Helm charts, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and container networking for improved orchestration. Ensure container security and efficient resource utilisation. Work closely with software engineers, security teams and IT operations to improve deployment strategies. Document infrastructure, processes and best practices to maintain high-quality standards. Provide guidance on DevOps methodologies and best practices in automation and system reliability. What You'll Bring to the Table Technical Expertise Significant experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering. Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and networking. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD). Expertise in containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog). Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation. Nice to Have (But Not a Dealbreaker!) Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions). Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) and API gateways. Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST). Experience with configuration management tools (i.e Puppet, Chef).
