To help us achieve this we are looking for a Development Engineer who is enthusiastic about their work and excited to work within an experienced and passionate team. In this role you will be required to work autonomously on your allocated workload, be able to make sound, regulatory and legislative based decisions but also be self-aware enough to know when to seek help, guidance and support from the team and your supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, but we are also open to hearing from candidates with qualifications in other, related disciplines and with appropriate industry experience. The Development Engineer will have a varied role that involves working closely with other stakeholders and departments to ensure the effective provision of services to all Council assets. To Succeed In This Role, You Will Have Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field, or significant experience deemed relevant to the role. Proficient understanding of the development engineering legislative framework for local government in New South Wales. Proven experience in managing the assessment of complex subdivision works and subdivision certificates. Strong ability to balance and manage competing stakeholder priorities effectively. Demonstrated leadership in driving continuous improvement initiatives. Commitment to a customer-focused work ethic. Remuneration And Benefits Employment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per week. Salary: In the range of $94,301 to $109,593 depending on skills and experience PLUS 11.5% superannuation. Allowance: Civil Liabilities Allowance depending on successful candidate qualifications and eligibility. This role also qualifies for a leaseback or vehicle allowance.
