Aspect Personnel is currently working with a council located south-west of Melbourne to recruit a Development Engineering Coordinator.The role will be an initial 6-week contract, with the possibility of extension. Full-time and part-time hours will be considered (3–5 days per week).You will join a friendly, supportive team, with hybrid working arrangements and modern office facilities.As an Engineering Coordinator, you will be responsible for: Leading and mentoring a small team of engineers and officers Providing engineering advice and solutions to other council departments Overseeing development and subdivision engineering projects Liaising with internal and external stakeholders Monitoring and reporting on finances and budgets Preparing detailed reports As the ideal candidate, you will have/be: A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or relevant experience/qualifications Proven experience in assessing and advising on subdivision planning applications Experience conducting site investigations and resolving engineering issues A solid understanding of the Subdivision Act, Local Government Act, and other relevant legislation Excellent presentation skills and the ability to write technical reports A current driver’s licence If you would like to discuss this role in more detail, please contactMichael Parker on 0431 593 048 or send an email to .
