Development Manager - Built Form, Medium Density Residential An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Development Manager to join Stockland's Masterplanned Communities development team in Perth. The Opportunity - About the Role Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to work across our residential built form projects within our Perth Masterplanned Communities portfolio. This role will involve working on multiple projects at different stages of the development cycle. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading and driving the project strategy, with safety and commercial acuity at the forefront. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, strategic insight, and a commitment to fostering a high-performing, customer-focused team culture. Key Responsibilities Ensure projects align with Stockland's development process, policies, vision, and profitability targets. Manage all aspects of project delivery, including finances, contracts, approvals, sales, marketing, risks, and opportunities. Foster a culture of design thinking, customer focus, and cross-divisional collaboration. Monitor market and competitor activity, implementing product changes to stay competitive. Improve the customer experience and manage customer issues professionally. Engage with stakeholders to enhance Stockland's image and reputation. Ensure stakeholder, community development, and environment plans are in place and actioned. Lead and implement the Residential Sustainability Policy, demonstrating Stockland's commitment to sustainability. Support and embed project management tools and processes. About You You will have proven experience in property development, ideally in medium density townhomes, residential land, or mixed-use projects. In addition, you will have the following qualifications, skills, and attributes: Understanding of the full development cycle Commercial acumen, including forecasting, site assessment, and feasibility analysis Advanced ability to build relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders Team player who enjoys working collaboratively and mentoring others Tertiary qualification in a relevant field The Stockland Proposition At Stockland we are a community delivering outcomes that benefit the community at large.
