Details : Are you a senior project manager with experience in built environment design or construction? Do you have a passion for sustainability, design quality and innovation? Can you work collaboratively with others to manage great outcomes? The Suburban Land Agency’s Built Form team is seeking applications for the position of Development Manager to drive the delivery of showcase sustainable developments. The Built Form team is an interdisciplinary team of passionate professionals who are committed to strong leadership in people-, place- and design-led urban development that balances financial, social and environmental outcomes. Reporting to the Senior Development Manager Built Form, the role is responsible for managing bespoke sustainable built form delivery and construction, including planning, architectural and landscape design, while operating in a collaborative team environment. Using a risk management approach, the Development Manager ensures appropriate project governance is established and maintained in accordance with the values of the ACT Public Service. This is an exciting opportunity to manage innovative showcase housing projects that set a new sustainability benchmark in Canberra’s housing market. Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Pre-requisite Qualifications and/or Experience The successful occupant will be required to: Hold a relevant professional qualification or accreditation with a professional body recognised within Australia; or Hold a relevant building degree; or Have significant building or Infrastructure knowledge and/or project management experience. Highly Desirable Knowledge and experience of project/program management of sustainable design and built form delivery (minimum of 5 years). Knowledge and experience of project management software such as MS Project. Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in a related field such as: Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Built Environment, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, Building and Construction Management or Project/Contract Management.
