You’ll be at the heart of managing key initiatives, from program design to implementation, working closely with a wide range of stakeholders. With a focus on delivering outcomes, you’ll have the chance to contribute to long-term strategic goals, handling everything from budgeting and contract management to ensuring smooth execution. If you’re passionate about making a difference and thrive in dynamic environments, this role offers the perfect platform to make your mark.Candidates MUST be Australian Citizens, with a minimum Negative Vetting 2 or higher clearance. Key responsibilities include: Supporting enhanced engagement with Pacific Island countries, including through the implementation of new or existing development programs and activities under broad direction. Establishing effective contract management processes, monitoring and tracking milestones and budgets. Assessing and managing risks to program implementation. Ensuring monitoring and evaluation are effective and follow contractual requirements. Coordinating internal and inter-agency advisory meetings and consultations. Providing reporting and briefing. Promoting a positive team culture where staff work collaboratively with a shared sense of purpose and build capability within the team by coaching others and providing feedback.
