About the vacancy A rare opportunity has become available at Adelaide Festival Centre for a motivated and enthusiastic digital professional to join our Digital team (within the Marketing division), in the exciting role of Digital Marketing Coordinator. The Digital team provides expert advice and support to AFC departments that communicate with patrons and stakeholders through our owned digital channels. The team is responsible for our online presence, including the website, social media, email marketing/eDM, online advertising and digital signage, incorporating best-practice Customer Experience and supporting the brand and event campaign activity of the Marketing Department. Reporting to the Digital Content Officer, the Digital Marketing Coordinator delivers digital marketing activity for our festivals, shows and events. The role will also contribute to social media planning and content delivery. In order to succeed in this role, you will have sound IT skills particularly in email marketing platforms and website CMS (Craft). This role will be offered on a full-time fixed term contract for a three-year duration. Responsibilities Deliver AFC’s schedule of email and SMS activity including promotional eDMs and visit-related ecomms, using Audience Republic, including template selection, testing, and approvals Provide regular analysis and reporting of eDM activity, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities Lead weekly digital WIP meetings and use these meetings to communicate eDM results with the wider team Use best practice to construct and implement effective and targeted lists for eDMs Post and schedule digital screen content across AFC digital assets using signage scheduling systems Build and update webpages using Craft CMS, maintaining consistency and style Review copy and images for accuracy and suitability; provide guidance on content appropriateness and brand consistency Work with Manager, Digital & Social, to develop an annual calendar of organic AFC brand social media activity Use digital analytics to enhance and optimise AFC digital activity. Work with Marketing Executives and Coordinators to deliver strategies to reach target audiences for their campaigns by providing expertise digital advice Participate and contribute to digital projects, providing advice on priorities and processes Competencies and Skills Sound IT skills particularly in email marketing platforms (Audience Republic), website CMS (Craft) and social media scheduling tools (Sprout, Meta Business Suite) Ability to establish and maintain productive and professional working relationships with staff employed at all levels of the organisation Ability to provide a consistently high level of customer service Flexibility and agility to adapt to changing business demands and priorities High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to research, analyse information and make decisions under minimal supervision Knowledge and understanding of social media best practice, both organic and paid Sound time management skills: ability to prioritise and negotiate workloads to meet deadlines Tertiary qualifications in marketing or related discipline (highly desirable) Benefits and Culture Adelaide Festival Centre employs over 350 people in various departments.
