Company Description Part Time Fixed Term position Based in Port Macquarie Attractive hourly rate + Super + Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550 Job Description headspace is a federally funded, innovative, early intervention program that aims to build the health and well-being of young people (12-25 years). headspace is especially aimed at those who are at risk of mental health issues. It has a strong focus on physical health, mental health and drug and alcohol counselling, and supports young people to engage in areas of vocation and education.We have an exciting new opportunity for a tech savvy person to be a part of our Youth Mental Health program. We are seeking a dynamic and communicative individual to provide technical training and guidance to young people (YP) using the InnoWell platform. This role involves teaching YP how to access self-report questionnaires, select relevant health cards, and use the red flag feature. You will be responsible for explaining the platform’s real-time monitoring function, where clinicians track progress, and encouraging active participation in their recovery journey. Strong communication skills are essential to empower YP in making informed decisions about their care. The role includes regular updates to the platform, follow-up appointments to resolve any tech issues, and providing detailed feedback to clinical facilitators (CF).This role is part time at 35 hours per week, and will continue until 30th June 2025.Responsibilities include scheduling and conducting follow-up appointments, addressing any technological difficulties, and documenting all interactions with YP. You will provide feedback to clinical facilitators and assist in organizing fortnightly meetings for the first six weeks, transitioning to monthly meetings thereafter. Additionally, you’ll contribute to ongoing care by recommending online tools, addressing clinical concerns, and supporting the clinical team as needed.If you are passionate about helping young people take an active role in their care and recovery, we encourage you to apply.Qualifications Skills and experience include:Sound information technology skills, including the ability to compile, review and analyse data, source information when required. A youth-friendly, optimistic, and professional approach to work and a passion and commitment to achieving positive change in Youth Mental Health. A competent level of skill in youth mental health clinical practice, including assessment, case formulation and intervention across a range of diagnostic categories, demonstrated experience at a senior clinician/clinical coordinator or extensive clinical experience within an autonomous role. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously. Emotional intelligence, personal resilience, and tenacity. Demonstrated experience in the design or utilisation of electronic platforms, development, and delivery of training to YP and resource packages including those that target clinical skill development in YP. Qualifications:Degree level qualification in Mental Health / Psychology or similar (or working towards same or with equivalent recognised experience). Lived experience is highly regarded.
