About The Role Job Description – Digital Service Designer We are looking for a Digital Service Designer to support large-scale digital transformation initiatives focused on modernizing systems, improving service delivery, and enhancing user experience . The role involves leveraging user research, human-centered design, and digital best practices to create seamless and efficient digital services. Work Location & Requirements Canberra, Hybrid Mode (On-site presence required) Baseline Security Clearance required Previous experience in federal government highly preferred Key Responsibilities Conduct user research to identify needs and pain points, ensuring digital solutions align with user expectations. Design and optimize digital services to enhance usability, accessibility, and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new solutions into existing systems and platforms. Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards. Support Alpha and Beta phases of product development. Contribute to digital modernization efforts, improving efficiency and streamlining operations. Skills & Experience Experience in digital service design, UX research, and user-centered design. Knowledge of cloud-based environments and system integration. Understanding of government security and data protection standards.
