The Team: Data & Digital – Digital Advisory Our Digital Advisory practice develops contemporary, cutting-edge strategies that enable government to unlock the full potential of emerging technologies—particularly AI—and drive meaningful innovation. We support the creation of highly efficient, modern technology operating models, help validate technology choices and rationalise tech portfolios. We assist in shaping compelling business cases and crafting technology roadmaps that align with organisational objectives, ensuring they remain responsive to evolving needs. By bridging the divide between business and technology, we provide the ‘glue’ that keeps both sides in sync, delivering tangible value and transformative outcomes for the public sector. We challenge the status quo, proactively identifying opportunities to innovate and improve every step of the way. The Opportunity We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Digital Advisory Lead who embodies strategic vision, technological acumen, and a passion for shaping the public sector’s digital future. You will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients and teams through complex transformations, ensuring best-in-class solutions and fostering sustainable, trust-based relationships with stakeholders at the highest levels. In this role, you will: Lead Strategic Vision Collaborate with C-suite and senior stakeholders to understand organisational goals, translating them into comprehensive digital strategies. Establish and communicate clear roadmaps, enterprise architectures, and investment cases that align technology with community and citizen needs. Assess current-state architectures, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement that leverage emerging technologies and best practices. Design contemporary technology and architecture operating and governance models that optimise efficiency and effectiveness. Encourage creative problem-solving and experimentation within the team to ensure continuous improvement. Drive Client Outcomes Provide thought leadership on digital and data trends, applying these insights to deliver tangible public sector value. Implement value-chain-based solutions across govern , build , deliver , and run functions within IT organisations. Mentor and guide junior consultants, building their capability and fostering a supportive team environment. Contribute to the growth of the Digital Advisory practice by nurturing strong relationships and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery. Have a Strategic Mindset You’re adept at translating broad organisational goals into actionable digital strategies and frameworks. You see the bigger picture yet understand the tactical steps needed to get there. Possess Deep Technical Acumen 10+ years’ experience in Digital Advisory type roles working in complex environments. Strong understanding of technology, including but not limited to: AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, emerging technologies, and digital operating models. Industry certifications like ITIL, ArchiMate, TOGAF, or Zachman are desirable. Communicate with Impact You can engage C-suite stakeholders with a compelling narrative that simplifies complex technology concepts. Your communication style fosters trust, clarity, and consensus. Lead with Influence You have a track record of delivering strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams, building buy-in at all levels.
