About the Team in Sydney Targeting a large number of products including Rating Data Feed, Credit Research, Country & Industry Solutions, Financial Fundamental Data, ESG, Real-Time Political Risk across all business lines (Sell-side, Buy-side, Governments, Corporates, Professionals, Academia), our Team Australia, NZ & South Pacific is a very dynamic and highly performing team. We’ll Count on You To: Report directly to the Regional Sales Head of Australia, NZ, Greater China & South Pacific. This role is to oversee a portfolio of clients (Strategic Banks), to develop business from existing clients, actively seek cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, establish and implement strategic plans to grow the territories of important sectors, and to co-ordinate with internal teams to deliver on our business target and ambition. Actively establish and build strong relationships with C-suites and decision makers to grow existing business and minimize cancellations to meet and exceed Sales Activities and Sales Targets within the given territories. Set up and engage in strategic meetings with clients to identify cross and up-sell opportunities with strong product knowledge, market knowledge, competitive landscape and be highly organized, accomplished at solving problems and closing deals. Leverage cross-functional internal teams (including Client Services, Product Specialists, Analysts, Marketing) to develop the strategic plans actively approaching new potential customers and displacing competitors. Assist the Regional Sales Head, lead and coach the sales team to accelerate the current high performance. What You Need to Have: Degree educated (or equivalent) within a Finance, Business, Commerce or Economics discipline and strong knowledge of Fixed Incomes. Around 8 to 12 years of experience with business development or account management in the Banking Sector. Experience managing large account portfolios, building strong relationships with C-suites, decision makers and client facing roles with cold calling, product demoing and training experience across Australia and New Zealand. Proficient user of Outlook and other Microsoft applications, particularly Excel. Fluency in English, strong communication skills, both oral and written are essential. What Would Make You Stand Out: Strong leadership skills and great experience dealing with Australian Banks. Confident and professional telephone manner to develop rapport quickly with prospective clients and great ability to communicate clearly and concisely by email. Excellent time management, organizational skills, strong initiative/results driven and great attention to detail with being pro-active and hardworking. Knowledge of Salesforce considered, interest in Business, Finance, Economics and World Affairs. Why Fitch?
