Job Description

$170,409 to $188,400 pro rata per annum + super The Director (Biosecurity Operations) will oversee the delivery of national biosecurity programs within Tasmania. Lead a multi-disciplined and multi-function branch. Manage the human, financial, physical, and information resources allocated to the Branch. Develop program plans and the policy framework for Border Biosecurity programs. Ensure the development and implementation of an ongoing exotic pest and disease preparedness program. Our ideal candidate has Strong leadership qualities and ability to manage complex teams. Exceptional communication skills. Practical experience in strategic policy development. Specialist expertise in the coordination of biosecurity, animal welfare, and product integrity programs. Ability to develop innovative solutions to resolve issues.
