Key leadership opportunity within NAB Markets Manage the Business Markets Interest Rates and Foreign Exchange Sales teams in Perth and Adelaide. Reporting directly into the National Head of Business Markets Origination, you will be responsible for a team of approximately 9 Markets professionals based in WA and SA servicing WA, SA, NT, TAS. Your team will be responsible for originating new Foreign Exchange and Interest Rates transactions and providing personal advice to NAB Business Banking clients. Role Purpose: Contribute to the total profit outcome and risk profile within the relevant sales team. To contribute to the growth in the client franchise by effectively managing the sales team, transacting products with Retail and Wholesale customers, and developing and executing strategies for entering new markets. Lead by example for all Markets employees by demonstrating commitment to the Corporate Principles. Core Responsibilities: Ensure a knowledge of products, focus on value to the customer through sales and service, timely and competitive pricing, product delivery, and the right solutions for individual customer needs. Locate and develop Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange hedging opportunities with the franchise of Business & Private Banking customers. Actively participate in analysing opportunities, conducting product and account planning for key customers. Assist customers and bankers to execute Interest Rate transactions and onboard new Foreign Exchange customers. Develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and all internal business partners. Contribute to and support a team-oriented working environment that is enjoyable and rewarding for employees. Have active involvement in the professional development of team members. Monitor daily activity to identify unusual, abnormal, or suspicious deals. Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a finance or business-related discipline and/or a post-graduate degree in similar disciplines. Markets-related qualification - AFMA Tier 1 accreditation in IRRM & FX. Registration on the Financial Advisers Register desired. High level of specialist knowledge in financial products and services. Excellent stakeholder management, relationship management, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong experience in executing complex client solutions across products.
